About SweetPEA

Let's Talk

It’s important to you. It’s personal to us.

SweetPea Meetings is a corporate meeting and incentive planning agency built around one idea: when you hire us, your event becomes ours. And your success is our success.

Co-founders Natalie and Nate Lundstrom launched SweetPea in 2014, a husband-and-wife team with a shared obsession for getting events right. Today, the team brings 70+ years of combined industry experience, the operational backbone of 250+ events, and a pipeline of clients that keep coming back.

Most of our work happens months before your event. Sourcing the venue and negotiating concessions you didn’t know to ask for, building agendas and meeting specs, vetting AV vendors, managing the room block and attrition, building registration pages, coordinating speakers, designing sponsorship prospectuses, and tracking the thousand other details that have to land before your doors open.

what makes us differenT

We become an extension of your team. Over months of planning, your dedicated SweetPea planners take on your vision, fight for your interests with vendors, and absorb the stress so you don’t have to. Follow the plan with us, and hosting your event should be the easiest part of your year. You stop thinking of us as a vendor, because we don’t show up like one.

We’re a partner, not a transaction. We negotiate contracts like it’s our own money on the line. We catch the charges hotels try to sneak in. We push back on vendors when something isn’t right. We protect your budget and your financial goals throughout.

We plug in where you need us, anywhere from full-service to sourcing only. Some clients hand us the entire event. Others have an internal team and want us on specific buckets. A few engage us only for venue sourcing. All three are real ways to work with SweetPea.

Industries are different. Our standard isn’t. We’ve delivered events across a wide range of industries: dental, medical, veterinary, technology, industrial, M&A, legal, restaurant, marketing, non-profit, association, and more. The standard is consistent. We fight on your behalf for success regardless of vertical.

Boutique team. Enterprise process. We have a small team that works together every day and runs every event through Asana and a master planning system refined over 12 years. CMP-credentialed planning. IATA-accredited agency.

A trusted vendor network you inherit. Twelve years of vetting venues, AV providers, creative and decor specialists, and on-site vendors across dozens of markets. When you hire SweetPea, our roster becomes your roster. And we guide you through it, vendor by vendor, toward an event that lands.

MEET THE TEAM

The team you’ll work with, and the team you’ll know by name. And want to go to dinner with when the event is finished.

Natalie Lundstrom - CMP

Co-Founder & Chief Meeting Officer
Natalie is the steady hand behind SweetPea and a co-founder whose passion and high standards shaped the company since day one. Twenty-plus years in: she’s seen it all, solved it all, and still brings the same enthusiasm to the most complex events we take on. She sets the bar high, fosters an environment where the team feels supported, and ensures that everything happening behind the scenes stays there. During an event, Natalie somehow manages to be everywhere at once. As a recent client put it: “wherever I am, there you are.” When the team or a client gets stressed, her line is always the same: “It’s gonna be great,” said with the quiet confidence of someone who has brought it all together hundreds of times. First to celebrate a win, first to help through a challenge. Off the clock, she loves traveling with her family, though she may love the comfort of her routine even more. You’ll often find her sipping a cup of Earl Grey tea, encouraging women through Bible Study Fellowship, or spending time with Shep, the family’s Australian Labradoodle. Originally from Nashville: you’d think she’s lost most of her Southern accent, until she spends a weekend back home with her college friends, and it comes right back. Always trying to keep up with wherever Nate wants to go next.

Nate Lundstrom

Co-Founder & CEO
Nate is the co-founder behind SweetPea and the big-picture thinker on the team: operations, team, growth, process, the long-view strategy, plus client relationship development. Behind the scenes, he’s a problem-solver: streamlining workflows, building smarter tools, and leveraging AI to help the team work smarter, faster, and more effectively. His enthusiasm is contagious, his belief in people has been a driving force behind SweetPea’s growth since day one, and he’s always looking for the next opportunity, the next connection, the next way to help clients succeed, bringing client goals together with what SweetPea can deliver. He also sells sponsorships for many of our dental events. At heart he’s an adventurer: snowboarding with his boys in Japan, dining at Central in Lima with Natalie, paragliding with the fam in Switzerland, casting a fly rod on a quiet river, and trying to get to EDM shows. There’s often a camera nearby. And one question on repeat: where can we go next, what can we build, make better, and what can we become?

Whitney Nelson

Meeting Manager
Whitney leads our more complex events from kickoff to closing. Main client contact, logistics, budgets, vendors, on-site ops. She brings the steady confidence, expertise the team leans on, doesn’t miss a thing, and resolves problems before they arise. Calm under stress: the kind of planner who once had a custom photo activation rewelded overnight to fit the space, and the client never knew anything went sideways. Off the clock she’s a member of a modern dance company in Phoenix (five years and counting), and spends every summer in New York visiting her 20+ cousins.

Kassie Mueller, CMP

Senior Meeting Planner
Kassie keeps her events running on time and on track, coordinating clients, hotels, vendors, and production teams. At one recent conference, with the agenda still being rewritten on event day, she stepped into the show-caller seat mid-flight, called every AV cue live, and made it look like nothing had changed. Off the clock, she’s chasing a toddler, getting her hour of Orangetheory (her one place to completely disconnect), and trying whatever recipe she’s currently obsessed with. Originally from Illinois, Arizona transplant since 2021. Teammates would say she runs on Coke Zero, color-coded spreadsheets, and a well-organized timeline.

Selena Brewer

Meeting & Sourcing Manager
Selena recently relocated to Arizona, having previously resided in Northern California, where she studied Event Planning and Hospitality at Chico State. With a diverse and skilled background in event planning, operations, and project management, Selena's professional journey began in San Francisco. There, she worked at an experiential design firm, collaborating with tech companies to coordinate a wide array of conferences and special events, spanning across all scales. Selena has a true passion for turning event visions into reality through meticulous organization and a commitment to perfection. In her free time, Selena enjoys traveling, staying active, exploring the outdoors, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Morgan Kewin

Senior Meeting Planner & Sponsorship Lead
Morgan is our SweetPea OG, joining during our post-Covid rebuild and growing into a Senior Planner and Sponsorship Lead. She oversees sponsorships from contract through onsite execution and leads her own events from start to finish, guiding clients and sponsors to success while building incredible rapport along the way. Sponsorships and event execution are at the core of her role, but her work touches a little bit of everything, and no two days are the same. In person, she’s always cracking the team up and is known for being animated, talking with her hands, and bringing youthful energy that keeps us oldies feeling young (her latest lingo: “Low Key, High Key”). Off the clock, she’s either traveling or home with her husband Brian and their sassy Australian Cattle Dog, Stevie. She’s a proud University of Arizona alumna and a lifelong Chicago Bears fan. You’ll often find her with a crispy Diet Coke or an ice-cold Sauvignon Blanc after a long day.

Mel Sennertt

Operations and Meeting Specialist
Mel keeps SweetPea’s back office in check: HubSpot, Asana, AI and event tools, plus the systems and process improvements that hold everything together. She also jumps in on meeting planning and on-site support when events need an extra set of hands. Teammates say she picks things up fast and is always willing to figure things out on the fly. Off the clock, she’s a Michigan native, loyal Detroit Lions fan, and dog mom to a black lab named Chico. She’s always up for a concert, sporting event, or a weekend trip to Huntington Beach. She once won a brisket smoking competition (no big secret, just apparently a natural). And her 2026 goal? To like salad.
